If you want the Upgraded version don’t busy this app! Wasn’t very clear from the start. And to upgrade the money you pay for this app won’t count towards the other subscription so essentially you’re just wasting money buying this if you want the upgraded version. The should be a joint app or this app should be deleted

There appears to be two versions of this app listed separately in the App Store simultaneously. This is aTimeLogger 2, which has bugs from the outset. aTimeLogger PRO doesn't have these bugs. Get PRO, not 2.

December 6, post iOS 18 update: Wow. I’m having all kinds of issues. Had to uninstall and reinstall this app. I’ve NEVER had problems with aTimeLogger before. Since the iOS 18 update it’s been all kinds of weird! This morning, I opened it and all my data was GONE. That’s when I did the reinstall and sync (thank heavens for sync!) The font and icons are SO tiny that I can’t read it, even with glasses. And when I try I switch to an old format with the bold text for easier readability, I can’t see my notes as I type them. What’s going on? This was my only 5-star app! Old review: I’ve used this app for years and it’s the way an app should be. Simple, beautiful design, easy to use and customizable. I can set up my daily activities just the way I want, set goals for important tasks, run one or more tasks at a time and get reminders and reports. The only thing I could wish for is the ability to use emoji for icons when the icon library doesn’t have just the right icon for my needs. Supposedly, there is an updated app but I’m going to stay with the original as long as I can!

Issue fixed, data came back. App does what it promises and does it well. The backup feature is handy for hiccups. Previous reviews —— Just upgraded to iOS 18 and all my data and the app functionality is gone. The last update deleted over 4 months of tracking! Right from the point i migrated from aTimeLogger

there will be more convenient

I’ve been using this app for years religiously, but all of a sudden I cannot multitask i.e. run to activities at the same time. This is quite annoying now in order to get an accurate log. I have to go back and add activities in the timeline.

We can pause the time from lock screen but Always need to open the app to resume again. Try to solve this. Overall great app.

I have non-24 and have used this app for years to track my sleep cycle as well as to set reminders for meals and medication throughout the day. It provides a simple and effective way to track the time you spend doing anything. Plus, the developer maintains support for the latest versions of iOS to maintain reliable function and compatibility, and responds to feedback for feature suggestions and bug fixes.

Las capturas de pantalla están en inglés. En la configuración dice que se puede cambiar a español pero los iconos siguen en Chino aunque la app está en inglés. Intenté cambiar a español, apagué la app y el teléfono pero no ocurrió nada. No pongo mejor calificación porque no puedo opinar de una app que no puedo usar

I have tried many and this is by far the best time tracking app, very easy to customize for individual needs...perfect for tracking time in categories and projects within those. Love the icons and colorizing ability. Developers very responsive to questions or suggestions. Great app!

I love how simple and customizable the app is. Also I’ve been able to use the CSV data exports to do my own analysis work on my time. This app has helped me be more aware and accountable for how I use my time, and is helping me manage my time better.

July 2022: The iPhone widget will not update if you start or stop an activity using an Apple Watch complication.

I highly, highly recommend this app. It is easy to use. The app does not drain my battery. I get to see where my time is used in various reports

I’ve used this app for years, through many changes in my goals, work, and priorities. This app is very customizable and allows you to save old categories you don’t need any more. The goal-setting feature is helpful, with my only complaint being that you can’t modify the scale of its output display. You can edit the time chunks and add info after the fact if you forget to record an activity as it is going on. An amazing deal.

Is it possible to have specific settings for each activity? For example, enable multitasking for some tasks but not others, or enable comment on start for some tasks but not others

I’ve used this app faithfully since 2016, mostly on android, now moving to iOS. The only thing I like better about the new app is the automatic synchronization. Otherwise it’s laggy (elements can’t be pressed until the animation finishes), the “running” option has been removed, and for whatever reason neither old or new have the running task on the lock screen.

I’ve been using this app to check how I spend my time and it’s been very helpful and insightful. I used to use hours time tracker but switched to this app for a couple of key features: • time limits and time goals for activities • better management of overlapping activities • grouping of activities This app is really great when using shortcuts too, like automatically starting an internet timer when you open social media (though you have to start and stop each timer manually if you want the actions to appear in the shortcuts app). highly recommend if you want a flexible and universal time tracker.

I used Time Meter when I was using android device. This one is definitely a good alternative. Just reported a small bug about the font. Got fixed soon after that. Kind and efficient developer!

So far my experience on this app has been fantastic. Despite the numerous amount of features, the one thing that has been a problem is recurring events. Having to set the time for daily or weekly events (such as school or work) gets old fast which would be great if there could be an optimization to allow for the user to enter in recurring events that happen on specific days & the like. Fantastic app, The lack of the feature mentioned above is the only thing holding it back from a five star review

I think every book on time ‘management’ starts with the idea that you should begin by accurately recording the way you ACTUALLY spend your time. I have never come across another app that can do all the things this app does. I am a professional musician, and this is the best app I have ever used for tracking practice time and practice goals—for each day, each week, or each month. It’s also great for helping monitor and limit time spent on an activity.

I switched to this App mainly for Apple Watch. Previously I used NowThen heavily but unfortunately it doesn’t have Apple Watch compatibility. Overall this App is easy to operate. I like the customized icon and color and how they look like on Watch. The biggest disadvantage is the daily usage visualization. I can only view in Pie chart, or color blocks under calendar icon. It is very difficult to tell apart the colors by eyes, especially when I switch between tasks frequently. Unable to zoom in makes it even more frustrating.

Absolutely love this app, serves its purpose and its 100% customizable to your needs, plus it has never given me any issues, works perfectly fine! Perfect app to sharpen them time management skills.

The free version could track multiple tasks at the time, it is way better then this paid version, which can only track one task. I wish developer can update the free version or make the feature available on this paid version.

The app data collection disclosure states that they do NOT collect personal data connected to users, but the Privacy Policy contradicts that statement. I cannot see a relevant purpose for this company collecting the type of personal data that is collected apart from selling the data. Using the app, you provide the company with detailed info about your daily activities. The app is probably a good fit if you are comfortable allowing this company, seemingly based somewhere in East Asia, to have unlimited access to the following personal data, as described in the company’s privacy policy: “ including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.”

Finally, a time tracker that works and is so easy to use. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love the little icons in the different colors of my choice. It makes it my little happy place whenever I go to track my time. I only wish it was supported on my iMac so I could back it up to my computer. Otherwise it’s the perfect app!

plz add average of per day in week,month and year for total activity and per one activity

It is pretty straightforward on how to track and view data in this app. I like how it automatically pause the current activity when you start a new activity. The only issue I have is that I constantly forgot to update my activities. Adding a widget might help because it will be larger and more obvious on the Home Screen to see which activity I’m current on and thus will be able to remind me to check if I should switch task whenever I look at my phone.

The app itself is very intuitive and easy to use. However, it appears the app hasn’t been updated to support widgets in iOS 14. I hope the developers keep up to date with maintaining this app, as it is a very good product otherwise.

I’ve used hundreds of apps over the years. This is easily in my top 5. It is EXTREMELY customizable and allows multi-level tracking to whatever detail you want. I have it on my primary complication on my Apple Watch so I can switch activities with 2-3 taps on my watch. Optionally, it will periodically remind me what I’m currently tracking in case I forget to switch to a new activity. It provides powerful graphical and text reporting with good selective filtering. It is virtually bug free and works as advertised. I can’t comment on their support because I’ve never had to use it. They provide screenshot and video user instructions. Initial setup is straightforward if you first watch the instructions to understand: 1. Groups, 2. Activities, and 3. Adding Activities. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I originally bought this about five years ago to track time in my freelance business. More recently, I create a group for each client, and three or four types of work I may do for them. When it’s time to bill, I export a report in CSV, sort by date and maybe type of work. I copy the data into Excel and have Excel figure up the different types of work with the @sumif feature. The last few weeks aTimeLogger has really been earning its stripes helping me keep track of medications as I’ve dealt with pain from a herniated disc. I use it to keep on top of how long between doses of medications, and now I’ve added in various homeopathics and how l how long since drinking water or eating which you are supposed to space out around homeopathics, how long I ice and when I can apply ice again. This app has so many uses with the customizing activities. I learned from customer support how to import icons too (png with transparency) to further customize. Thank you to the creators and maintainers of this app! I recommend it all the time.

I can very easily track how I spend my time which helps me stamp down ‘time thieves’ I’ve created over time with bad time mgt habits.

Please add a simple mileage tracker option for people that use this app to log hours and miles throughout the day. An integration for reporting into Concur would be a plus.

I enjoyed the App, it helped me structure my time efficiently.

This app enabled me to have an in-depth and reliable review of my weekly work load and enabled me to see where my times were focused, needed to improve and an overall summation of time spent. Highly recommend.

I never realized how much time I was wasting, this app has definitely helped me stay organized and worry free for work tasks. If you are evening questioning about whether to download it or not, just get it and thank me later.

I’ve been using this app for about a month and by using it I was made aware of how unproductive my work flow and rhythms were. Since using the app I have changed how I go about my day which has made a big difference in what I am able to get done. The best part is that I’m not bringing work home anymore. I definitely recommend.

Not sure if this is an issue with Apple Watch syncing, but it seems like this is missing a lot of timers that are created so my data is half accurate. If this is fixed, I will go back to using it. Right now, just frustrated with it.

I’m really enjoying the simplistic nature of this app, it’s great! The only thing I wish it had is an option to keep the screen awake. I’d love to just have the timer setup on my desk and leave it running to monitor and see how long I’ve spent on various tasks. Also it helps for remembering to stop the timer if I’m leaving the desk. Overall a great app and I’m leaving a 5 star ratting as I don’t think it’d be fare to take one off for the screen lock feature.

Im brand new to the app as of a few days ago but When im looking at my reports, as I multi task I would love it if it would show the tasks in their own catagory and not grouped together! Such as Running and Music, If they were seperate, I would give this app 10/5 stars. All my multi tasking makes it so the visual is far too divided and small.

I was looking for an app that would let me track the time I spend on pre-defined activities. I wanted to see multiple-day view with the graph of each activity over time so I could compare the patterns of activities each day. And this app does this perfectly! It also has a search function that can find activities based on the words contained in comments. This is also a feature that I need! Seems like the developers thought of everything! It is a very well thought out app! I highly recommend it!

I use this time logger on my iPhone, and it works beautifully! It has features that are only available through paid subscriptions on other time loggers. I’m able to create my own categories, create subcategories, and export reports that I subsequently use as time analysis for my client invoices.

I use this app more often than basically anything else on my phone. It helps me keep track of time worked on numerous jobs, hobbies, etc. I was a little disappointed when I switched phones from Android to Apple and found it was no longer available for free but I didn’t hesitate for more than a few seconds to just buy it because I knew I was getting a critical tool for my daily life. Time picker on Android was a little easier to use - the +/- 1 and 5 minute buttons for both start and end time were something I used a lot when making minor edits to completed activities. But in other respects it is really well aligned across multiple platforms.

Few features. Poor reporting. Not worth $5.
